Description
Below, you will find instructions on making internal and external calls, managing voicemail and other things with regard to your extension. The latest internal phone extension listing can be found under "Attachments" on the left side of this page.
Placing Calls
Internal Call
Dial the 4 digit extension number
External Calls
Dial 9 + 7 digit phone number you want to place a call to
Long Distance Calls
Only certain users have access to make long distance calls. If you require access to long distance calling, please make a request to your department supervisor.
To make a long distance call, dial 7 + 1 + area code + 7-digit phone number.
Features
Voicemails
To access your own voice mailbox, dial Feature 981 and enter your access code if required. This will also allow you to initialize your voicemail for the first time.
If you’re asked to enter a password, enter 0000.
Transferring a Call
With active call, Press Transfer key OR Feature 70
Enter Extension Number
Announce call (optional) OR Hang up for call to be transferred
NOTE: Press Feature 986 followed by the Extension to Transfer call Directly to Voicemail
Redial Last Number
Press your Last Number Redial key OR Feature 5
Conference Calling
Make OR Receive 1st call, press Hold key
Make 2nd call, press Conference key OR Feature 3
Press the Held Line to begin conference
Do Not Disturb
NOTE: Any calls while DND is on will immediately silenced and forwarded to your voicemail.
Press DND key to turn feature ON OR Feature 85
To Cancel: Press DND key OR Feature #85
Call Foward
NOTE: Foward any incoming calls to another extension. Use this if you are to be away from office and want another person to receive your incoming calls.
Press Call Fwd key OR Feature 4
Enter the Extension Number OR 9 + Phone Number(if Applicable)
To Cancel: Press Call Fwd key OR Feature #4
Ring Volume
Press Feature *80 and use the volume bar to set ring volume
Ring Tone
Press Feature *6, press numbers 1 to 4 to hear ring tones
Press OK to Save
