Adobe Distiller requires specific settings for the Prepress department. Below are the settings to distill EPS pages to PDFs.

Solution

You have two options to set your settings for Adobe Distiller. You can choose to load the below file or you can copy the settings in each Distiller Window to reflect the screenshots below.

To load the Adobe Distiller settings from the file attached above, select the Settings menu in Adobe Distiller and select Add Adobe PDF Settings. Find the downloaded file and select it. Distiller will load with the exact settings as in the below screenshots.
