If the RIP client application is immediately on launching it, the Preferences file could be corrupt.
Select Go
While holding the option key on the keyboard, select Library
In the Library folder, find the Application Support folder
Locate the StudioRip folder and delete it
Launch the StudioRip application
Once the Settings window opens, complete the setup from here Configuring StudioRIP RipClient
Once the settings are the same as that page, launch the StudioRip application
If the StudioRip application stays on the logo splash screen for more than a minute, quit the application and relaunch. It should run normally.
