StudioRIP Rip Client Crashing

Summary

If the RIP client application is immediately on launching it, the Preferences file could be corrupt.

Solution

  • Select Go

  • While holding the option key on the keyboard, select Library

  • In the Library folder, find the Application Support folder

  • Locate the StudioRip folder and delete it

  • Launch the StudioRip application

  • Once the Settings window opens, complete the setup from here Configuring StudioRIP RipClient

  • Once the settings are the same as that page, launch the StudioRip application

If the StudioRip application stays on the logo splash screen for more than a minute, quit the application and relaunch. It should run normally.
