Changing Your Password

Summary

If you're on a Mac, will be required to login using your NasGuard username and password. Your NasGuard password and your computer password will be kept in sync.

If you wish to change your password, please follow below.

Solution

• To change your password select authentication (triangle icon) app from the system tray

• Select Change Password

  
• In the window that appears, enter your current password followed by your new password twice (The new password requires at least 7 characters, one special character, one number and one upper case character

• Select Change

Once you see the success window, your password will be changed on both your desktop and in NasGuard.

Verify

Once you've changed your password in NasGuard, the next time you login to your desktop, you will use your new password. The system will prompt you to enter your OLD password before you can successfully log in.
