Admin On-Demand

There are some functions when using your workstation day to day that may require you to enter an admin password/credentials. Admin On-Demand allows you to elevate your account to admin status for a five minute period to complete whatever function is required.

Note that all Admin On-Demand functions are automatically noted and recorded while it is active.

How to use Admin On-Demand

• Click "Self-Service" on your Dock or launch from the "Applications" folder.

• Once launched, Click "Admin On-demand"

• Click the Request Admin Now button

• Enter your justification for requesting Admin access here.

• Once you have typed your justification, select "Continue

• Read and Accept the terms by clicking Continue

• You will receive a notification confirming that your user has been upgraded. Click "Got it" to acknowledge.

• Check for the notification, click the Date and Time (Clock)

• You will now have five minutes to complete the action that requires admin access.
