Your Home Folder
Overview
Your Home folder is your personal space to store files and documents. No one other than you has access to your home folder.
All work related important files or documents that you don't want to have viewed by others should be saved to your home folder. You are allowed to store files and documents to your local workstation, i.e. Documents, Desktop, Pictures, etc., however please keep in mind that these files will not be backed up by IT. In the event of changing workstations or a workstation crash, files saved in your home folder can be easily restored.
Accessing Your Home Folder
Macintosh Users
When you log in to your computer, your home folder should automatically mount as a drive on your desktop.

If it doesn't automatically mount to your desktop, please follow the procedures below.
How to Connect To Your Home Folder Manually
From your desktop, select Go > Connect to Server

In the address window that pops up, enter : afp://dsm.nasguard.com

If you're asked to log in, enter your NasGuard Username and password
Select the Home folder from the selection and click OK
Windows Users
Windows users will always have an H:/ drive mapped to their computers at all time. The H:/ drive is automatically mapped to your computer upon logging in.
Open Computer and navigate to This PC to access your H:/ drive. Also, all contents of the Documents folder is backed up to your H:/ automatically.
